Emails and consent
When you join the Rugby13 Development Squad (previously called the Launch Squad), we use your email address to send development updates, early-access and testing opportunities, occasional votes on the game’s direction and release news. You give consent by ticking the email updates checkbox before joining; we record the time you consented. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email.
02 / Your interests
Optional answers
After you join you can optionally tell us what you would most like to see in Rugby13 and which part of rugby league interests you most. Earlier signups may also have given a first name, a location or a preferred platform. These answers help us decide what to build and what to share; they are never required and never used to restrict access to Rugby13.
Beta questionnaire
Approved testers answer four questions about their device, rugby league knowledge, experience with sports management games and main interest in Rugby13 before first activating access. Optional comments can add relevant testing information. These answers are stored in Rugby13’s database against your tester invitation and account, with completion and update timestamps, to understand testers and improve the game. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
You can update your answers on the onboarding page and ask Rugby13 support for correction or deletion. This questionnaire does not subscribe you to emails.
03 / How the page works
Visits and page events
We also keep the channel and campaign that brought you to Rugby13 when they are in the page link, the name of the website that referred you (the site only, not the full address) and a referral code if the link carried one. A short-lived browser session record keeps that first source while you move around the site. It uses session storage, not an advertising cookie, and clears when the browser tab session ends. We record pseudonymous page, form and share-button events to understand whether the signup page works; they are not linked to your email address and are removed after 90 days.
04 / Where it goes
Storage and your choices
Signup information is stored in Rugby13’s database and in Resend, our email service. We do not sell the list. If you unsubscribe, Resend stops marketing email to your address. You can ask about access, correction or deletion through Rugby13 support.
05 / Scope
